Walking Thoughts is now a team of doctors, public health experts, and health policy and management experts with excellent writing skills and 6+ years of experience in ERAS personal statement writing, as well as reviewers pursuing residency in the U.S. This unique blend of perspectives allows us to offer you the best of services as we personalize each personal statement to your specific personality, experiences, strengths, and essential requirements.

SERVICE DESCRIPTIONS

1) Personal Statement Reviewing

This service is valid for only 2 reviews per client. You can either get the same personal statement reviewed twice (first time and then after incorporating our feedback) OR two separate personal statements.
This service is not eligible for any of our discounts.
You are required to send us your personal statement in a Word document format with the following information
Your name
Your specialty
Your match cycle (e.g. first, second)
YOG
The above information will help us provide you with feedback that considers your complete circumstances and, hence, allows us to offer you the best possible advice.
We will carefully review your personal statement and insert our comments and feedback on your Word file, using the ‘comment’ feature.
We will respond within 48 hours.

2) Personal Statement Writing

You will be sent a detailed questionnaire after you have paid the fee.
You will be required to send us your answers within 5 working days.
The questions require serious introspection and are both personal and professional in nature. This is to enable us to get to know you, your experiences and your goals.
Writing a personal statement requires the writer to be very empathetic before they can start the creative writing process. It involves a lot of handwork, time, empathy, creativity, and experienced writing skills. This is why our process is highly personalized, and we are attentive to details.
Once you’ve provided your answers, we will create a rough draft of the personal statement and discuss it with you over a 20-minute video/audio call or a WhatsApp voice note.
We will begin writing the personal statement after we have discussed it with you and received your approval on the rough draft.
The regular delivery timeline of 10 working days will begin after your approval.
Because we will have proceeded with the writing process after your approval, we will not be making any major structural changes in the personal statement outline or rewriting it. The revision will include minor changes and edits.
All of the packages available include two revisions, unless otherwise specified. Each additional revision will incur additional fees.
Disclaimer: The answers to the questionnaire must be truthful and accurate representations of you, your thoughts, opinions, and life story. Please do not fabricate any events/incidents. We can only write using the information you provide. The more interesting facts, opinions, and incidents you share, the easier it will be for us to brainstorm and create an engaging story that truly represents you.
Please keep in mind that, while your personal statement is an important part of your application, it is not the only factor that determines the number of interviews you receive or your chances of matching. Many other factors come into play. However, we are here to assist you on your journey and will do our best!

3) Personal Statement Editing

Depending on your personal statement, you may or may not be given a separate questionnaire to ask you additional questions to help us edit your personal statement.

You are required to send us your answers within 5 working days.
Once you’ve provided your answers, we will begin editing the personal statement.
The regular delivery timeline will begin after you have sent us the answers.
In case additional answers are not required, we will begin the editing process after the confirmation of the payment.

4) ERAS CV/Application Editing

You will be provided with an ERAS application template that will include your geographical preferences, primary focus, key characteristics, experiences, meaningful and impactful experiences, as well as hobbies and interests.
Once completed, please send in the answers typed in the same Word document application template that we will share with you.
We will make the necessary edits and return the updated file to you.

5) Letters of Recommendation Writing

Please share all relevant information regarding the program and your experience there.
You will be provided with a separate questionnaire for the LOR. Please answer them to the best of your abilities.
To write a personalized LOR, we need as much information about your experience as we can get.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

The standard delivery time for all documents is 10 working days and starts after your approval of the drafts and provision of complete information.

The urgent delivery time is 6 days and starts after your approval of the drafts and provision of complete information. You are required to send us your answers within 24 hours of registration.

If your delivery deadline is less than 6 days, the fee will be adjusted.

Please note that you can avail the personal statement services up to 60 days of fee payment ONLY.

After the 60-day mark, a late fee of $15 will be charged for every 3-day delay. •

The fees are applicable for services availed for the upcoming cycle ONLY. It will not be carried forward to the next cycle.
Discounts are applicable on all services EXCEPT personal statement reviewing. Packages A,B, and C are already discounted.
All the mock interviews offered in the packages need to be availed before 31 December 2025.

We understand that it is a stressful time for the ERAS applicants; however, respectful and professional communication must be maintained at all times. If any client behaves disrespectfully or unprofessionally, we will not proceed with their orders. Please also understand that we need your cooperation at all times to ensure a smooth process. This includes adhering to the timelines, sharing of the relevant information, and open communication. If at any point you have any concern, please share with us as soon as possible to avoid misunderstandings later.

HOW WE WORK

After completing the registration form and acknowledging all terms and conditions, you must pay the fee and send us a screenshot via WhatsApp.
Fee is non-refundable and must be paid in advance.
For international clients:

Fees will be paid through https://wise.com/ or https://www.remitly.com/. Any applicable processing fee will be borne by the client, so please enter the amount to be transferred accordingly.

For Pakistani clients:

You can make a bank transfer via online or mobile banking or a bank deposit. For Pakistani clients, the fee is converted into PKR as per that day’s dollar conversion rate on Forex.

Please note that a small share of our earnings is donated to Kiran Foundation as charity, on behalf of Walking Thoughts and its clients.
Your registration will only be complete once you have filled the form and paid the fee, after which you will be sent a detailed questionnaire or template, depending upon the service that you have chosen.
